What has happened to Google sitelinks.
We have received a lot of enquiries about Google Sitelinks and our clients’ websites during the last couple of days.
First of all a sitelink is the two columns of links that you will sometimes see underneath a search for a particular product or company.
Normally it would look like this:-

In this example, when we searched in Google for ‘The Institute of Krav Maga Scotland‘, we found the site and the new ‘sitelinks.
Sitelinks will continue to work as before as the changes are mostly cosmetic and I am sure you will agree give a much better view of the particular website you are looking for.
Your sitelinks can still be managed via your Webmaster Tools, and can be changed if you are unhappy with the links that Google has ‘chosen’ for your business.
